🔬 What is HPV and why is the vaccine important?
Human Papillomavirus (HPV) is a common virus that can lead to several types of cancers, including cervical, throat, anal, and genital cancers, as well as genital warts. The HPV vaccine is a safe and effective way to protect against the most harmful virus strains.
💉 Who can take the HPV vaccine?
Recommended for girls
Ideal age: 9 to 26 years
Most effective when taken before exposure to the virus
📌 Dosage Information:
For individuals aged 15 years and above: 3 doses (at 0, 1–2, and 6 months)
