The Department of Commerce was established in 1979 as an undergraduate department and later it was upgraded as a Post Graduate in 1982.The Department offers M.Com (Finance), B.Com (Finance) and B.Com Computer Application. The inputs received through industry interaction are made use of the teaching learning processes. The teaching learning processes of the Department have found excellent career opportunities for our students. Stress is given to computer applications in commercial practice. Eight permanent faculties are working in the department and the faculty takes an active interest in all the ‘commerce-related’ activities of the college.
