Parent Teacher's Association (PTA)

The college has an active Parents Teachers Association (PTA) that provides remarkable support to the routine functioning of the college. The PTA assists the overall development of the students by extending financial and other supports to the curricular, co-curricular and extracurricular activities of students. There are six executive committee members with the principal as the ex officio president of the committee, while one of faculty member is acting as the secretary, one of the parent is elected as the vice president.

The first general body meeting is held at the commencement of the academic year and the members of the executive committee are selected in this meeting. In addition to the general body meeting Class PTA meeting are also organised to discuss the progression of the student and other allied student affairs.

In order to strengthen the academic ambience of the college PTA organizes Merit day in which in which scholarship are distributed to both meritorious and needy students. seminars workshop conducted by IQAC are funded by PTA. Likewise PTA provides aid for the beautification of the campus.

Aims and objectives

Promoting good/ positive relationships between teachers, students, staff, parents/guardians.
To ensure high academic standards and enables the smooth working of the college.
To ensure good infrastructural facilities in higher learning institutes.
The PTA holding meetings to have an awareness of the overall performance of students, the status of developmental activities of college etc.
To create in members a keen interest for the smooth working of the college and for maintaining good discipline and high academic standards
To collect voluntary subscriptions, donations, gifts etc., from members, nonmembers and other institutions for furthering the aims and objectives of the association
To institute scholarships, prizes, medals etc., to benefit students showing a high proficiency in their studies.
