As per the proposal submitted to Kerala State Women’s Development Corporation Ltd (KSWDC), ‘Mithra’ – Women’s Cell of T.K.M. College of Arts and Science, commenced its activities based on the upliftment of womens groups, and scheduled various programmes in the college.
Prof. Shajitha, is the Coordinator of Mithra – Women’s Cell, and its formal inauguration was held on 27th January 2018 and was formally inaugurated by Smt. J. Mercy Kutty Amma, Hon’ble Minister for Fisheries, Harbour Engineering, Cashew Industry.
Mithra – Women’s Cell organized different programmes like, Blood Donation Camps, Sai Gram Visit, Skill Development Programmes, Interactive Sessions with eminent personalities, Observing International Women’s Day, Various Day Observances, Hand Sanitizer Manufacturing and distribution, were few among them.
