IPR Cell

IPR has recently become an important aspect with the emergence of WTO agreement. IPR involves terms like Patents, Copyrights, Trademarks, Registration of designs etc. Research and Innovations on ideas and products are coming out from various academic institutions. Therefore it is highly required to develop a conducive environment to understand and help the faculty members and students about the legal aspects of the IPR on innovations. The IPR cell also provide knowledge of the IPR concept, Patent rights and procedures for filing the patents at National and International levels.

Objectives

• To educate the importance of IPR among the faculty members and students of the institution
• To provide training on the IPR registration process
• To organize seminars and workshops in the area of IPR
